01Extra hot product

Orphela paste contains Dragon’s Breath, an extremely hot pepper, and Scotch Bonnet. It is intended for adults who know their tolerance for heat and should be eaten in small amounts, as a condiment.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Avoid contact with eyes, nose and mucous membranes. Wash your hands after use, or wear gloves.
• If it gets in your eyes, rinse well with cold water. If you feel unwell, consult a health professional or call Info-Santé 811 (in Quebec).
• Not recommended for people sensitive to spicy food or who have been advised by a health professional to avoid it.
• To soothe a burning mouth, try milk, yogurt or bread rather than water.

02Ingredients

Ingredients shown on the label: hot pepper, ginger, sea salt, garlic, onion, bell pepper, parsley, lemon juice, mushroom powder, white vinegar. The list printed on the jar in your hands always prevails; if it differs from this site, rely on the label.

03Allergens

The recipe ingredients do not include any of the priority food allergens recognized by Health Canada (peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans and molluscs, soy, wheat and triticale, mustard) or added gluten. Sulphites are not in the ingredient list.

If you have a severe allergy, always read the label before each purchase and email us at info@orphela.com with any question about cross contact risks during production.

04Storage

Follow the storage directions and the date printed on the label. Use a clean, dry spoon, close the jar tightly after use and do not eat the product if the lid is bulging, if the contents smell or look unusual, or if there is mould.
