Which cookies the site uses, why, and how to manage them.

01What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.
02Our approach
Orphela only uses essential cookies. We use no advertising, profiling or analytics cookies, and no social media pixels. That is why no consent banner is shown. Fonts are served by a provider that does not set cookies.
03Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
orp_lang | Remembers your language (French or English). | 1 year | Essential |
wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_* | Site administrator login only. | Session or 14 days | Essential |
wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_* | Store functions, if used. | Up to 48 hours | Essential |
glsr_* | Protects against duplicate reviews. | Session | Essential |
04Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie, the site will show in French by default and you can still switch languages with the FR | EN selector.
05Changes
If we ever add non essential cookies (for example for analytics), we will ask for your consent first, as Law 25 requires, and update this policy.
